Air Shovel®

The Air Shovel®  provides power and versatility for potholing, trenching and other hydro-excavation tasks. 

Using the powerful Air Shovel®  is the most cost effective way to excavate around underground lines.  The underground is now so congested that the Air Shovel excavation unit is becoming as common to use as the backhoe. 

The Air Shovel®  is available as a “vacuum only” unit for pumping escaped drilling fluids, or with on-board high pressure water for potholing, trenching, tunneling and more. 

The Air Shovel® is available as a trailer mounted model and in larger capacity truck mounted models.  

Standard trailer mounted Air Shovel® Features

• 1000 gallon tank (3.5 cubic yard) with 700 gallon sludge and 300 gallon fresh water capacity

• Fast hydraulic tank lift for dumping

• Rear mounted hydraulic hose reel with 250 ft ½" handgun hose / handgun for jetting

• Triplex water pump / 10 gpm at 2000 psi  

• Hydraulic tank lift

• Fully opening hydraulic rear door

• Hydraulic water pump drive

• Hydraulic vacuum pump drive

• Central operator station with push button control

• Auxiliary hydraulic power port

• Work lights front and rear

• Protective aluminum shroud with large hose storage tubes

• Large power assisted access doors to all components

• 440 cfm liquid cooled vacuum pump
